About Institute
Beijing International Studies University is a high-level university jointly built by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Beijing Municipal People’s Government. It is a famous university with foreign languages and tourism as its dominant characteristic disciplines. Other disciplines include literature, management, economics and philosophy. It is also an important base for the training in foreign languages, translation, tourism, economy and trade.
At present, the University offers 48 undergraduate programs (including 31 language majors), 5 first-level master’s degree programs, 29 second-level master’s degree programs, 6 professional master’s degree programs, and 2 joint doctoral programs (jointly training doctoral programs in translation with Binghamton University, USA). Also having tourism education programs with the University of South Carolina, USA.

Graduate Degree Programs
The postgraduate program of professional accounting provides an opportunity for you to gain an in-depth understanding of the theory and practice of accounting and finance. Upon graduation, you will be capable of critically evaluating financial conditions, and completing applied research independently. All courses are taught in English except for Chinese modules. The dissertation and oral defense are also applied in English.
